Greetings! Jason here.

It’s been a minute. I hope 2026 is treating you well so far and boy does time fly. I have found a few more things, and I’m still going through cassette tapes, but there probably will not be much more stuff to post on a regular basis.

Warning, I’m quite chatty today and wanted to share some of my recent thoughts :)

The U.S. today

I am not putting a political slant on what is supposed to be a tribute to Kristen, but let’s be real, Kristen was very socially-politically motivated, and it has not been an easy road in deciphering how her views and which views contributed to her anxiety, depression and heavy drug use. I’m her fucking brother and I have shit to say, the end.

I’m still here, and I fought to be here.

I hope you are well and enjoying life wherever you are and making the best of it. If you are in the US, hopefully you are not too stirred by everything that’s happening (90-95% the Media’s fault I think, the media’s playbook: divide divide divide). Our attention is gold and there are so many things competing for it now.

The truth is the U.S. is a wide open creative canvas waiting for creators to step up and create, and make it better. Politicians, the media, etc. will always do their thing, and my take has always been to let the sharks be sharks and create the new. If your plan is to stop people from doing what they do, good luck with that.

“Instead of wasting your energy fighting the old, create the new.”

Well thanks for letting me chime in my two cents. It’s not cake walk for me or anyone I know, regardless of their political views, and I know plenty of people are struggling during these times. But let me remind you, it could be a lot worse. The more we let ourselves get bogged down by bullshit and find ourselves stuck on only seeing the negative, the lesser quality of life we have.

But you do you. If you feel called to some sort of activism or protesting, do your thing. I choose to avoid the social-political realm and focus on my creative visions. Yeah, some of you might say well I’m resting in my white privilege. Well, you have no idea what I’ve been through or what it took to get where I am today.

What I will say about this immigration thing is the media’s role is pouring gasoline on a fire. The Media supports their own interests and their function is to manipulate and make money.

I am not sticking up for the current administration, nor do I agree with all of the things they are doing. But I’m telling you, in my opinion the Media is at least 90% of the problem, and it appears there is great interest in our country being divided. That’s not good news, as it makes us appear weak to our enemies.

First off, the Native Americans didn’t want ANY of us here.

Kristen and I’s relatives on my mother’s side came to Ellis Island from Italy and it was not easy. They were poor and worked their asses off to take care of the family and build something up. I do not know anyone who came to this country illegally, so I will not speak for the one’s who have.

Immigration policy doesn’t justify masked men entering homes and hijacking people or especially mistaken US citizens (Gee, what could go wrong?) I would assume many people here illegally were/are afraid to do anything, let alone admit they are here illegally, out of fear of what would happen.

In the end, I personally think both sides are full of shit. But what is really wack is how we are treating each other now. Alienating, stereo-typing, blaming, assuming a person is in one political camp (and painting a pretty linear picture of what that means) because they challenge the narrative, as if everybody has to be a zero or a one; it’s pathetic.

I think racism in its essence is, at least a good part of it, ‘judgment’- and there’s a whole lot of judgment going on. In the end, no one is better than anyone else.

We are all in the same boat, and we best get our shit together so that our moods and actions are not swayed everyday by what the news says, what the algorithms are doing, and what the social media posts say.

Not to mention, in this new era of Fake, it is deeply disturbing to see people have conversations in the comments of posts that are completely fake and AI generated. You probably already have a gut feeling that this era of fake AI is gonna create some real problems. A lot of people will not know what is real, down to the fucking weather report. Scary times.

But we can only do the best we can, and try to focus on the positive and stay happy. We’re gonna need our intuition, our immune systems ready to go, and hopefully the will to take our attention back and focus on the lives we want to create, the end.

I don’t want to come across as pushing a side or agenda, it’s sort of the opposite intention. Part of me feels obligated to speak my mind here in reference to Kristen’s influence on my perceptions and how those perceptions have evolved-

coming not only from her brother but from someone who has survived somewhat similar circumstances, in combination with my own sort of rebellious spirit, again in part influenced by Kristen.

That said, hopefully my timing on these feelings is ok. I am not referring to any particular events, especially not anything to do with recent events in Minneapolis, a city Kristen loved.

I wish you the very best whatever your situation is.

Anyway, here are some Kristen things I recently pulled up below.
